Guest Captain Rhodri Evans won the toss, inserted the opposition and marshalled his troops magnificently throughout a balmy late summer's day.
All the Fielders played well, apart from Grant Strachan who was at work, and the Fielders clinically avenged the defeat to the DK's earlier in the summer.
The star bowler for LFCC was Tony Tedore with figures of 4.1-2-17-4 and with that stunning piece of seam bowling he secured an IPA contract with the Bethnal Green Oysters.
The class batsman of the day was Graeme Rodrigo with a brilliant unbeaten 84, and he also secured a T20 contract with the Mile End Clubbers.
There is no time for any more detail as we live in recessionary times and it is 'lights out' in 2 minutes, except to refer you to the photos of the scorebook (available on request). Thank-you to Grant Strachan for that, his only contribution of the day!
We look forward to the 2010 season and sign off with a big thank-you and a small Mexican wave to the officers of the club.
